It's Wednesday. I could either mention that Broadway is turning Clueless in to a musical and let a little bit more of my artistic soul die, or I could recount Melissa Gilbert on Chelsea Lately last night (they mostly talked about coke and Rob Lowe and can you blame them?), or I could happily indulge in a few of my favorite things: Bono, The Edge, Julie Taymor and Spiderman. Did I also mention Evan Rachel Wood and Alan Cumming are signed on to the project? Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark will make a Broadway debut in January, 2010. I simply can't wait.

I'm afraid that, if this turns out the way I think it will, I will have to call a nuclear strike from orbit down on Broadway. It will be the only way to make sure something like this never happens again.
I hear your fear Michael - but I have to look to Across the Universe (with a Bono cameo) and trust in the powers of the almighty Taymor. :)
